OUR STORY
Several stories are associated with the invention of the Baguette, but for us, it’s simple. The Baguette was made to be eaten with our special Entrecote Sauce.
While the building of the Eiffel Tower dominated headlines, something else was being a cooked. A lesser-known invention was starting to take shape in bakeries – the Baguette.
The Baguette
During the time the Eiffel Tower was coming to life, the engineer behind it, Gustav Eiffel, cared about worker safety. To that end, and to minimize and accidents, he banned knives on the construction site. This made it difficult for workers to lunch on traditional French bread, as it required a blade for slicing. Thus, many workers complained about the inconvenience.
In an effort to solve this problem, the Baguette was created – no more knives needed, as the bread can easily be pulled apart. So now that the Baguette has seen light, how does this relate to us, at La Baguette De Paris?
La Baguette De Paris
With the popularity of the Baguette in France and gradually, over the world, many pairings took center stage. For us, it was an anonymous culinary hero who saw a specific potential in the bread. They meticulously crafted a secret sauce, later known as the entrecote sauce, that perfectly complemented the baguette. A blend of local, fresh ingredients, the sauce became the perfect partner to the Baguette, especially when coupled with succulent Angus beef and fresh, homestyle fries.
Carrying this in mind, La Baguette De Paris was born, and has since thrived. We’ve expanded across France, and now, we embark on a new adventure, bringing this Parisian legend to the Middle East, starting with Qatar.
